In ancient Egypt

The table relied on three legs, which bent and often looked like animal limbs. Sometimes there were products on one and four legs.
In ancient Rome
The way of life of the ancient Romans is similar to the ancient Greek. The Romans not only ate lying down, but also wrote, conducted conversations, worked. The Romans rare tables were round, the legs were made in the form of mythical creatures. The surface was usually marble or made of expensive wood.
In ancient China
The Chinese did not have dinner rooms. Their tables were portable and constantly placed in different rooms.
In Byzantium
