The interior in the English style looks elegant, presentable and comfortable. This is an adaptation of a medieval aristocratic style to modern realities. Before you decorate the room in this style, you need to know what basic requirements are presented to the interior in the English style and the basic elements of the design.
In such an interior, each element should have an expensive presentable look. Furniture, curtains, carpets, tapestries should look solid in combination with expensive skin and velvet. A fireplace lined with wood with valuable species, marble or limestone should look gorgeous and comfortable. This element in the interior is mandatory. In the most extreme cases, instead of the present, an electric fireplace is used. The fireplace is “equipped” with a fireplace hanger, dark wood board, bronze forceps, poker and other objects.
A tree becomes a key element. An array should be used for doors, since the products from veneer are not suitable. Furniture is made of oak, nut, red tree. In the decor of the walls and the selection of textiles, preference is given to light tones. Each element must meet the concept: wealth, solidity and at the same time be restrained. Furniture sets, array doors, cornices should be ancient or aged artificially. Wooden details decorate with carvings. A gorgeous staircase with carved railings with graceful sculptures installed on it should be on the second floor.
The walls in the living room around the perimeter are sheathed half from below with wooden panels, over which a bright wallpaper is glued to a small flower or with a geometric pattern. A luxurious chandelier with crystal pendants should hang from the ceiling, decorated with an expensive stucco molding. Portraits of ancestors, landscapes made by oil, engravings, watercolors, tapestries are hung on the walls. Hunting trophies and a collection of ancient weapons will also look great. There should be an oval table in the center of the living room. All textiles (pillows, tablecloths, curtains, bedspreads) should be in one tone.
