The use of tile cutter gives better result. It can be mechanical or electric. The first is used if you need to cut a small number of tiles. It is better to use an electric one, provided that it is planned to renew a large area using an impressive number of tiles.
In cases where the floor is transmitted, the owners turn to the use of floor tiles, which has a serious thickness. But at the same time, a regular tool for cutting a good effect may not give. A more effective option would be either a regular grinder or a special cafeller.
