Walls of wood houses under the influence of external negative factors in the form of rain, snow, sun and masses of others can quite quickly lose their qualities and begin to collapse. Therefore, the decoration of wooden surfaces of houses should be an integral part of the facade protection from external influences. At the same time, its main task is to ensure reliable protection of wood and increase the life of the building without overhaul.
To date, based on which material is used for the decoration of the facade of the building of wood, two technologies of the external decoration of such buildings are distinguished: volumetric and spatial (hinged facade), and “wet”.
In the first case, the finishing material is mounted at a certain distance from the main wall, and in the other, special solutions and adhesives are used, which are applied directly to the walls of the house. Installation of a hinged structure allows you to get a voluminous wall consisting of a variety of elements. Since both of these technologies have their own characteristics, they should be considered in more detail.
Some experts believe that the “wet” method of decorating the external surfaces of the walls of wooden houses is practically unsuitable. As a justification of this statement, arguments are given that the tree absorbs moisture well, and therefore quite often changes its shape.
From a different point of view, when processing the facade of a wooden structure using mineral or acrylic decorative plasters, you can get a beautiful appearance of the building. In the case of such processing, a wooden crate must be made, which provides the necessary protection of wood from the penetration of moisture from working solutions into it.
Hinged systems can be made using a variety of materials: facing brick, siding, PVC panels, facade tiles on cement -phase base, thermal panel, blockhaus, etc. D. The choice of material depends on the wishes of the owner of the house and his financial capabilities.
Brick cladding provides an increase in the heat -insulating properties of the structure, but work on its manufacture should be done after the final shrinkage of the building. Unlike it, siding lining is quite light, does not load the foundation and is quickly mounted.
