The principle of aligning the floor – self -leveling the mixture, is that this solution spreads over the surface and its hardening occurs, due to which the formation of a smooth flat surface occurs. This article describes how to pour the floor in the apartment and at the same time achieve perfect smoothness of the floor with the help of self -leveling mixture.
Before performing the main leveling procedure, it is necessary to prepare the surface for this process. First you need to get rid of construction debris and dirt, after removing the remains with a vacuum cleaner after that. Be sure to exclude all holes on the surface. To do this, you can use a special mixture for pouring cracks and all kinds of recesses.
After that, it is recommended to cover the surface with a primer, on which uniform drying of the floor will depend. The room temperature should not be lower than 5C and above 20 degrees with a plus mark, and humidity should not exceed 80%.
To obtain a qualitative result, the floor alignment should be performed with a team of three people so that one is on the feed, the other on the preparation, and the third in turn – on the filling.
Work should begin from the side most distant from the exit. Pouring the self -leveling mixture is carried out in parallel stripes, the width of which should be about 40 cm. To create the maximum flat surface, you can use a spatula for leveling.
When the bubbles appear on the floor, it is necessary to apply a needle roller – to eliminate them. The solidification of the solution depends on the temperature and humidity in the room, as well as on the thickness of the layer of the self -leveling mixture. In order for the composition to acquire the correct structure, you need to protect the finished leveled floor from drafts, direct sunlight and from heating elements.
