Stairs and fences
Compositionally wooden stairs connect the horizontal and vertical surrounding space. They are an excellent architectural and constructive addition of any home. A number of requirements are presented to the wooden stairs:
– The steps of the stairs of the stairs should have the same height and width;
– The transition width of the march should not exceed 55 cm;
– Special and oblique steps should have a width in a narrow place more than 13 cm;
– From the free side, the wooden staircase must be fenced with railing with handrails;
– Within one march, the number of steps should be more than 16, on stairs in apartments and family houses – more than 18;
Very often, owners of houses buy stairs to order, in the manufacture of which the needs of the client are taken into account. So, in the manufacture of a wooden staircase, the client has the opportunity to order the material from which it will be made. Most often, for the manufacture of wooden stairs, nuts, oak, beech, cherries, birch, maple, ash, olive and other high -quality wood species are used for the manufacture of wooden stairs. But large -sized materials can also be used, such as an MDF with a pigmented coating, glued shield, a carpentry slab, a MDF plain with a glued film, glued low -grade parquets or bioplits, upholstered in plywood.
When choosing a material for talus, the main material is its resistance to wear. So, too soft breed is fir and spruce. For this purpose, larch or pine, which are more resistant to wear, is better for this purpose. In addition, these woods of the tree are more moisture resistant. Oak is most suitable for stairs, because it is distinguished by durability and mechanical wear.
In order to increase the surface of the feet, they are made of parquetin, which are connected to the width of the width. Basically, the thickness of the parquetine is not more than 5 cm. For safe descent and lifting along a wooden staircase, the width of the steps must be changed so that the edges of the stairs are made thicker.
The staircase must have such sizes that the actual operational load can withstand the structure. Based on empirical proven rules, the sizes of simple stairs from wood are determined. Using calculations, the compliance of the requirements of the carrying capacity of the wooden staircase is determined. In this case, the sizes of elements, anchor mounts, and connections are taken into account.
