Among the mirror ceilings, a worthy place is occupied by a ceiling from a whole mirror. But when installing it, difficulties may arise, and in rooms of large sizes such a canvas cannot be used. In addition, applying a whole piece is very expensive, so the designers came up with other possibilities of ceilings, combining it, for example, with a design made of drywall. A great solution would be the use of mirror tiles. In this case, the mirror is divided into parts of a square or rhomboid shape. After the installation of such a ceiling is completed, a peculiar composition will appear, thus changing the geometry of the room. The easier option for making a suspended mirror ceiling – creating it from plastic panels. They are made of polystyrene and covered with a reflective film. Such acoustic wall panels can be smooth or ribbed.
Their explicit advantage is flexibility, since you can use such panels even on an uneven ceiling. If you expect to mount panels with spotlights, then you need to follow the fire safety rules, as they easily ignite. Often in buildings, mirror ceilings are made either cassette or rack. They are made of large racks or square cassettes. Good rails are made of aluminum, easily wash and mount. But in residential premises they look too officially and more appropriate in offices and municipal buildings. Finally, I want to highlight another type of mirror suspended ceiling – a stretch ceiling. When installing such a ceiling, a reflective glossy film of PVC is used. She has nothing to do with glass and mirrors, and reflects objects not clearly. But such a ceiling does not need to be aligned, it is completely safe, it will not collect condensation. If the room is wet, it will not miss the water. It is very easy to care for a mirror stretch ceiling, there are no special care requirements.
